The Molding Process
Getting a flawless fit starts with a perfect mold. Your kit includes two different colored putties (catalyst and base) and molding trays. Follow these exact steps to capture a precise impression of your teeth.
Wash & Dry Hands
Before handling the putty, thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water and dry them completely. Any moisture or oils can interfere with the putty curing process.
Mix the Putty
Take one container of the colored putty and one container of the white putty. Using clean hands, knead and mix them together aggressively for exactly 30 to 45 seconds until it forms a single, solid color with absolutely no streaks.
Roll & Load
Roll the mixed putty into a smooth, even cylinder (like a small sausage) that is the length of the molding tray. Place the rolled putty evenly into your respective tray (Top or Bottom) and gently press it down so it fills the channel.
Take the Impression
Carefully insert the tray into your mouth and firmly press it straight onto your teeth. Ensure your teeth sink deep into the putty, surpassing the gumline. Do not bite down completely—use your fingers to press the tray evenly. Hold it perfectly still for 3 to 4 minutes while the putty hardens.
Inspect & Ship
Once hardened, gently pull the tray off your teeth to break the suction. Do not remove the putty from the tray. Inspect the mold to ensure the gumline is clearly visible above every tooth. Maintaining Your Grillz
Your custom grillz are fine jewelry crafted from precious metals. Proper maintenance will ensure they retain their mirror finish and brilliant shine for a lifetime.
Daily Cleaning
After wearing your grillz, gently rinse them under warm water to remove any saliva. Use the premium Microfiber Cloth included in your Grillzlies box to gently buff the surface. This removes smudges, oils, and restores the pristine mirror shine without scratching the metal.
Deep Cleaning
Once a week, you can soak your grillz in a mild solution of warm water and a drop of gentle dish soap. Use a very soft-bristled toothbrush to lightly scrub the inside channels and around any gemstone settings. Rinse thoroughly and pat completely dry.
What to Avoid
Never eat, sleep, or smoke while wearing your grillz. Avoid exposing them to harsh chemicals, abrasive toothpaste, or jewelry cleaners not explicitly designed for solid gold or silver, as these can tarnish the metal and cloud your gemstones.
